Palm Harbor restaurant reviews

Glad to see some other Palm Harbor foodies on this board! Hope my experiences help someone:

Mystic Fish - had a delicious dinner there recently.. entrees were $16-$25 or so.. wines were rather marked up. We started with a perfectly fried calamari, with a thick garlic sauce of some kind. Sauce was good but wish it was lighter, more spicy, but a nice break from the marinara most places serve. Next time I will try the goat cheese spring roll too, sounded delish.

I had the filet with maytag blue, my husband had Snapper Casino, both yummy. We had tiramisu for dessert which was OK, but I recommend the tiramisu at the bakery in the same shopping center (Ladyfingers, the french bakery Mickey Boy also praised). All in all, a nice experience, good service for just under $100 with 4 drinks, a shared dessert and coffee.

This is on Tampa Rd, between 19 and McMullen Booth, same shopping center as Surf & Turf Market.

Blue Heron - just a few doors down from Mystic Fish. They call this a tapas bar, but I didn't know that so my husband and I had dinner. Great service, adorable little wine list and everything just delicious. Can't remember all the details as it was a few weeks ago, but I will definitely be back, this time to try the tapas. A bit pricey, maybe a few dollars more than blue heron.

happy dining, everyone!
