located at 4705 Inker St (832 673-044) this restaurant is off Shephard near I10. Open only one wk., the bldg is a 2 story yellow converted home just 1/2 block from the Cadillac Bar.
Upscale menu (available online), spotless eating environment, full bar, attentive waitstaff, this location will attract the Heights crowd and those near, not willing to take the downtown trek to Chinatown.

I had a first time quick lunch at Pogoda today,, a staple of mine,, Vermicelli (Bun) Bowl w/grilled pork/vietnamese eggroll. Tender, delicious, generous serving size,, I'll return for the enticing dinner entree's. Though priced higher than the Chinatown fare,, Pagoda offers up a nice alternative menu (tho the standard bites,, from Vietnamese sandwiches to Pho are available,, lamb, mussels, sea bass and catfish are entree items), easy access location,, and a venue that will probably appeal to a young hip crowd for happy hour and apps/dinner.

Near Jax Grill, Mak Chin (Asian), Cadillac (Tex Mex), BBQ and others,, I hope Pogoda finds traction in this neighborhood. They seem to have a terrific customer svc/delight grasp.
