Padova on a Sunday/Monday?

AWG | Feb 7, 201509:23 AM     15

This April I will be in Padova for 2 days starting on a Sunday afternoon. It seems that everyplace I find that looks interesting is closed on Sunday. Plotkin list 5 restaurants, all closed Sunday, some Monday too. I looked at la Finestra, looks like a nice menu but again...closed Sunday dinner and Monday.

I am not looking for mich star dining. Just good quality local food, fun atmosphere is a plus. Sunday will be my "jetlag day" so I can't plan on exact arrival time for lunch and will probably want a light and/or early dinner, so I am hoping to find places that won't require advance reservations. Was hoping to check out L'anfora but I believe they are also closed. If I can't find great local/regional food I'd be happy with pizza; Can you find good pizza in Padova? (and by good, I guess I mean authentic Neapolitan style even if we are in far away Veneto) Monday we have all day to explore and eat.

Any suggestions?
