Pace, Jimmy Bradley's new place

Went to Jimmy Bradley's new place, Pace, in Tribeca last night.

Like Red Cat, Harrison (and even the Mermaid), it has a sophisticated yet casual feel, but it is strictly italian with a nod to Lupa and Esca.

Lots of different apps: salumi, cheeses, crudi, many salads.
then, 6 pastas, 6 fish dishes, and 6 meat dishes.

The standout was the Agnolotti...really delicious, but beware if you are just mentioned parmesan sage butter sauce but it is stuffed with veal, pork, lamb and veal sweetbreads! I scored because my friend can't eat meat and we were going to I ended up with the whole thing.

The other winner was the antipasti selection but really beautiful stuff and all not the tried and true.

The wines by the glass list was also great and was aptly described to us.

The dessert menu was disappointing but was made up for a little with amazing Pro seco sorbetto.

Overall, a really nice evening and another feather in JB's cap.
