Oysters at McCormick and Schmick's

Dax | Jun 9, 2004 09:54 AM

Stopped in last night for a number of oysters with two friends after a nice little tour around the Harbor in a friend's boat. We ordered 3.5 dozen oysters in total for the 3 of us at $1 each. I felt like we got a steal. Mostly had Kumamotos (16), Malpeque's (?), something Point (not Blue Points) and a varied assortment of the other offerings. Plus the beers and wine. Added in an order of the steamed mussels in chili sauce (pretty good, wish I'd had the bread we asked for later at that time) ($1.95) and the walnut green salad with bleu.

I'm certainly no oyster expert, I just know what I like (oysters). I'm certainly no oyster expert, I just know what I like (oysters). Does the fact that these are all from relatively cold waters negate the whole "r month" theory or is that a wives tale? Because these were pretty darn good in June. I guess this should be moved to general comments - I will link to that discussion below.
