Oyster River Tavern: dining along the shore in West Haven...

gutreactions | Jul 7, 201808:07 AM

We spent a few sizzling days along the shore in the Milford, CT. area. One day a group of us drove over to Oyster River Tavern on the Milford/West Haven line, right on the shoreline. It turned out to be a fun and filling experience. We ordered away while sipping some local craft brews: Fish & Chips, Fried Oysters, Fried Bay Scallops, Fried Shrimp all served with crinkle fries and all the fixins. It was good and plentiful. Reasonably priced. Service was fine, considering the crowd. The proximity to the shore certainly added to our experience. www.oysterrivertavern.com
