New ownership at Hunan Village

I had dinner there last night and came home and sent the following to the Downhill Alert section of this web site:

So disappointed, 18 months ago "excellent" rating by NYT, now under new ownership. The food, actually, is still good, we ordered our usuals (Beijing lamb, Ethereal shrimp dumplings, Curry beef puffs, noodles w/ Beijing bean sauce). but the service was very spotty, they have a whole new staff (what happened to the Indian guy valet parking the cars?). We knew we were in for something when the fried noodles they bring to the table were the pre-packaged kind you get from lesser take out joints.

We mentioned our concerns to the manager as we left, so hopefully these are kinks that will be worked out and the food won't go down hill. Any one else with a similar experience there recently?
