We just returned from another great meal at Overtures. Chef Peter said he would be overhauling the menu - first time in 2-3 years and he's started with the mid week price fixe. (The old Tues -Thurs $25.00 one.).
The price is now $30. - still a great price. For appetizers you can now get a crabcake - almost no breading - or a large portion of fresh Lancaster County Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella - or a cold shrimp and cucumber soup or Shrimp Louis XIV (with three shrimp) or a small salad. The three-Cheese terrine is sadly gone for now.
Entrees include a boneless quail, a petit filet with frois gras, based fish with couscous (tonight was Tilapia), or Veal Teners with Lemon. (3 very tender tenders), or duck breast.
We had the Tomato/Mozzarella and the crab cake. Also the Tilapia and the Veal Tenders.
For dessert it is dessert of the day. Today was a delicious Strawberry Short cake with fresh strawberries.
They were quite busy tonight for a summer mid week.
The regular menu hasn't changed YET but Peter said he's working on it.
