I went to King Fish Hall at South Market last Sunday with a few friends for lunch. The only positive thing on the menu was the Sangria. Boston is known for it's clam chowder, so I thought that I was safe and was sooo looking forward to some....Guess again. I was greeted with a bowl of warm milk with a few potatoes in it...with one dead clam in the middle. The day prior I had some great clam chowder right accross the way....which I will recommend to people in the future.
As for my peers....Eggs benedict took on a whole different meaning, as well. A bunch of deli grade thinly sliced fatty ham heaped on top of dry eggs and an english muffin?! The Hollandaise sauce was nowhere to be found!!!! When they asked about getting a side of Hollandaise ....four more teaspoons came out..it strangely had the same consistancy on the clam chowder, only with a bright yellow hue. Come on now....did we really need to pay over 200 bucks for really bad food?
