Four of us went there for dinner on Friday night. It's under new ownership -- apparently the group that owns the two Clocktower pubs bought it -- and the smell of new paint was overpowering. Despite having reservations, they tried to stick us at the worst table -- and there was a ton of room. Not a great start. Appetizers were zzzzzzzzzz with not much taste. We shared a shrimp dish and also a seafood antipasto. I had gnocci that was overcooked and a too big portion. The other dish I tried was an arrabiata with spicy sausage. I don't know how you can mess up an arrabiata but they managed to do it. Luckily the meal was pretty cheap and I do have to give snaps for the service. I'm not in a hurry to go back soon though. I'm tired of spending money at restaurants when I can do a waaaaay better job of cooking!
