OT: Dishwasher Safe Barrell Handeled Utensils

For a brief stint, I was on a WMF/Rosle Utensil kick, and was buying all sorts like it was going out of style.

In Hindsight, I stopped buying them due to their barrel handled design.
The endcaps that are on each end of these barrel - I'm not 100 positive if they are sealed. I looked and they bear no NSF rating....

I've always had concerns that putting these in the DW, water would mitigate inside these barrell typed handles ---and lord knows what may grow in it...

There are alot of these barrell style handles handles on the market from all makes/manufactuers. CH, is this water containment issue only on my radar and I'm being too cautious...
