Orinoco hits the spot

I'd seen mixed reviews on this new South End place, but we went last night and were wowed. It was crowded, buzzing, with fun Venezeulan music playing. When our wait looked a little longer than expected, we just sat at the window seats on bar stools and they served us there. A squash soup was delicious and the minced chicken apps and entrees we had were super tasty (I do not remember their names), as was my wife's salad. I also had a Venezuelan beer which I loved. Service was quick and attentive, atmosphere cozy and lively, and food was terrific. As a JP-er I can only say I wish JP had a spot like this.
