There's a fight on about what Organic means, and how it should be regulated. It's possible under today's standards that the cow producing your "organic milk" is locked up in a tiny feedlot being fed pesticide free grain. No bargain if you ask me!
Some small organic farmers want the Organic standard to include a certain amount of wandering a pasture eating pesticide-free grass, which is what gives a better flavored milk and happens to be healthier for the cow.
