Organic or Free-Range Chicken Parts in SF?

pane | Jul 21, 2011 12:44 PM

I've been cooking (*almost*) exclusively with free-range or organic meat for a few years with no problems. Finally, I've hit a road block--I found a recipe for chicken wings, but realized that I've never seen wings at any of the butcher shops that I frequent. I don't cook chicken frequently, but when I do, it tends to be a whole bird.

Any idea where I can find chicken wings in the city that are organic/free-range or sustainably raised, or am I stuck with Safeway quality (or Safeway equivalent butcher shops) for this particular bird part?
