We're visiting Chicago from 11/11-11/14. We've got plans for iNG, North Pond, Aviary, Longman and Eagle, Topolobampo, Xoco, Spiaggia, and LOTS of Argo Tea. We've eaten at Alinea the last two trips, so we're skipping it this time. The question may seem silly, but is as follows: We try to eat only humanely raised meat (meaning grass-fed beef, pastured pork, free-range chicken). I'd love to get a Chicago dog, and we won't have time to hit Hot Dougs while we're there. Any recommendations on a quick place to get a Chicago dog made from "humane" ingredients? We're staying in Lincoln Park, but can travel if we need to. Also, anyone have anything to say against any of the restaurants we've picked? We're pretty much just eating the whole time we're there. Thanks in advance!
