I've been perusing the on line menu and revisiting old threads. I am thinking about oysters rockefeller, caesar salad (I know it says tableside--am I safe to assume that means raw egg and anchovies and all or will I have to request?), shrimp cocktail, spinach salad, creamed spinach, steaks. Am I on the right track? Also, the menu lists pepper steak and steak au poivre separately. Is this not a distinction without a difference, or do they have some special Dal Rae significance? And is it worth getting the abalone? I have only had it as sashimi and found it unpleasantly rubbery. Might they do half portions? I'm guessing crab cakes, pasta (eg, carbonara w/'alfredo sauce'), veal, and obviously anything teriyaki or sashimi (including raw oysters 'the largest available, the world over!') are to be left well alone.
