We're planning on visiting Vegas for 2-3 days between Xmas and the new year, and are planning meals. Fairly certain we're going to try the kaiseki at Raku this time. For our other nice meal, we were thinking about Twist at the Mandarin Oriental. I've never tried Pierre Gagnaire's cuisine, but have always been intrigued by his approach.
Twist seems to get a lot less attention on the boards than Savoy, Alex or Robuchon. Is there a reason for that? (i.e. is it just not as good?). And does anyone have recent experiences dining there? I'd love to hear them.
