On Gbrltr's advice, I went there with my mom and my fiancee's parents. It was great.
They sat us at what they said was the "most requested" booth, and I'm not sure why, it ws in the back of the first room, and had a big rip in the seat covered with tape that looked old. I was worried when I saw that, but it was a needless worry.
The food and service were perfect. They chilled the reisling I brought right away. We ordered to start, Crab cakes, fried brie (nuts on the side..yes, I know fried is a no-no for brie, but it can be yummy) and the white bean soup. All delish, especially with the bread.
I had the warm seafood salad, which was a drem. mom had the vegetable Naapoleon, whcih I tasted, and was yummy. Fiancee had the filet ongnon or some sort of steak pizza. Finacee's dad had a specail steak, he liked it..very rare to his liking. Finacee's mom had a curry salmon dish, also yummy. The portions were just right!
They opened our bottles of wine, hovered over us and served us well.
Total with corkage, tax and tip was a little over $200...very reasonable for 5 hungry people!
