I've been wanting to have an omakase experience in Boston. I'd like to hear what the hounds have to say about the omakase scene. Specifically, location, chef interaction, cost, and food volume (i.e were you hungry, full, or bursting at the seams?). Was it a slam dunk experience, or not worth the hoopla?
I've been to Oishii a number of times, but only ordered off the menu. It would be great to be able to sit and chat with Ting-san, but I'm guessing they're too busy?
Should I sit down at Oga's for a regular meal before diving into omakase?
