Olympia fine dining

Hi all.

The wife and I were in Olympia this weekend and decided to have dinner. Friends recommended Louisa, just off Capital in Tumwater. Interesting little place, renovated house across from the cemetary. Been open for 6 years apparently. Nice menu, with some typical NorthWest ideas mixed with some nontypical ingredients. Decent wine list, too. Bites included the following.
- Caeser salad: simple, nice, lacking identity
- Green salad: some very nice greens with good balsamic dressing.
- Shrimp canneloni: nice saffron sauce and fresh shrimp, but the canneloni were tough and strange - wonton wrapper?
- Pork loin with papaya salsa and quatro fromagio tamale: very tender, flavorful pork with a nice sauce. But the tamale was WEIRD - under cooked masa harina with too mild of cheese mixed in. Could only eat 1/2 of it, with all bites after the first trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with it.

Overall, not a bad place. We had a glass of Hogue Gewurtz and a Shiraz I wasn't familiar with, and wasn't impressed with either. We arrived about 5:30 and were the only ones there, with only one other table at 7 when we left - unless Olympia is a much later-dining crowd than I thought, that's not great business for a Saturday night.

Are there other more interesting places down there? I figure with our fat-cat legislators and money-breathing lobbyists there's got to be some good places to eat.
