We went for the third time to the Olive Vine on the south end of Park Slope, corner of 15th Street, and found the food to be consistently well-prepared and delicious. The pita bread, fresh from the oven, is fabulous. The salad items (green salad, hummus, black bean, etc.) are incredibly fresh and delicious (especially compared to Laila's -- which I also like -- across the street). You can order salads individually or five for $8. The green pizza (leeks, scallions, fresh mozzarella on freshly baked pita bread) was superb. Service is good and the waiter even gave us a complimentary dessert twice. Each time we've eaten there, the place has been nearly empty. Simply can't figure out why. I suspect the branch more centrally located is more populated, but I've never eaten there.
