After reading the post a day ago on this place, I had to try it. Well, this is the best BBQ I've had in a long time. I have a thing for beef ribs (Burnetts which was just across the way from this place served perfect beef ribs) so I tried those and the chicken. Ribs were huge and meaty and covered in sauce. As said in the earlier post, its a tomato/vinegar combination sauce, Medium thickness. Wonderful flavor, and they don't skimp on it either. IMO it would be a perfect sauce if it came hotter. But, since you can get it on the side, the next time I'll just add some red pepper to it.
The chicken was only average as to the quality of the bird, but I'd probably eat a 2x4 if it had that sauce on it.
They are strictly take-out and I still need to try the pork ribs, hot links and sides. They just started offering macaroni and cheese. If that is as good as the ribs, I may eat there every day.
The prices are reasonable. a half slab of beef ribs gets you 4 meaty ribs for 7.50. Can't see any reason to ever go back to Big Mamas unless you want to sit down to eat.
