ohhhhh..OKO!!! yowser

i just LOVE frozen yogurt but as far as i'm concerned, i've never eaten any until now. tasted the OKO greek frozen plain yogurt on 5th ave. in the slope and it was transcendant. it was also wildly expensive ...but i'm utterly hooked...as were the many people waiting in line. had mine with fresh blueberries but they also had lots of other fresh fruit and shaved coconut and dark choc. pieces and dried cranberries, etc. it's all a bit precious in it's presentation but the yogurt was unbelievable. they don't have their nutritional info up yet and the guy behind the counter couldn't tell me whether the fruit was organic or not (there's a big write up about how they try to be organic) but i'm sure that's all coming soon. lunch all summer long and just a short walk from my office...hooray!
