I have tried and tried and tried and....(see a pattern here?) to cook octopus so that it is tender. Tried beating the living daylights out of it, cooking it with a cork, etc.
Nothing has worked.
I want to...NEED TO..conquer this beast.
Over the next month, I will have three parties and want to cook it two ways:
1. Grilled and served with beans
2. Boiled/steamed?? to serve cold in a cold seafood salad
Please help. I refuse to give up.
