I understand that this majestic nectar has been released in limited quantities for the princely sum of $199 per bottle. It is the pinnacle of naturally created smoky whisky from Bruichladdich (autocorrect wanted to make that Buick Landrover)and was in a tasting by their agent Select Wines earlier this fall. Blew my middle aged lifelong whisky enthusiast mind. The evil genius behind this is Jim McEwan, who has been the master of Islay whiskies for the last 50 years, and created The Botanical gin, a reinvention of that spirit. I am curious to see what others think of this.
