Welcome to the October 2020 Cookbook of the Month! We will be cooking from Falastin by Sami Tamimi and Tara Wigley. Many of us are fans of Tamimi from his work with Yotam Ottolenghi. This time around he’s exploring the food of his native Palestine.
This is our master thread for the book. Please use it to share thoughts and inspiration, ask questions, source or chat about ingredients, talk about our favorites from the book, likes and dislikes about formatting of recipes or other things, and form conclusions.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us in cooking from this book. Please remember to use this format when adding to the thread: if you are the first to report on a recipe, please put the name of the recipe in all caps at the beginning of your post, along with the page number (or an outside link to the recipe). If the recipe has been made before, reply to the first report of the recipe, and put recipe titles in all caps. Photos are wonderful!
