Obscure Great New Bakeries in Peekskill NY

Two extremely obscure bakeries (neither in Yelp) I recently found in Peekskill, NY:

Sabor Ambateño (630 Washington St, Peekskill, NY; 914-930-7160) is an Ecuadorian bakery, but the first I've found from Ambato. A whole array of breads I've never seen before, and all with a magical quality that reminded me of why I like bread in the first place.

Ty's Bread Basket (922 Main St, Peekskill, NY; 914-402-5135), in downtown Peekskill, just opened, with a scattering of dull-seeming items sparsely displayed in unlit cases. I almost bolted, but grabbed a cherry danish and a couple of bagels, and the results were beguiling. Place is an absolute gem, though barely commercial (much less professional).
