More from the NYE menu thread (split from LA board)

I avoid going out to special holiday dinners. Seems like a good excuse for restaurant to overcharge you and subsitute a second string chef (who in the right mind would want to cook/work when they can be celebrating?!)

So I made prime rib (Whole Foods dry aged prime) with horseradish cream, steamed Alaskan King Crab with garlic-lemon-butter, side of sauteed collard greens w/ bacon, and Iron Horse champagne. Homemade cherries clafoutis with Dr. Bob Vanilla ice cream to end.
