What's your favorite source for various nuts? I've been subsisting on T.J'.s and cheap packages of pistachios from Moshti Malone's, but I've been having a hankering for something better. Good pistachios from the Santa Barbara Pistachio lady at the Hollywood Farmer's Market, but I've had a feeling that I could do better for the price.
Especially - I want walnuts. There's a recipe from Naples at Table that involves dissolving anchovies and crushed walnuts in anchovy oil, and finishing the cooking of the spaghetti in the nut-chovy oil. My current walnuts don't stand up to the anchovies the cheese lady suggested I get at Bay Cities'.
