Was visiting Vancouver last week. Four of us dined at Nu which is owned by the owners of Raincity Grill and Restaurant C. The restaurant itself is spectacular. It is built on stilts on the water underneath the Granville Bridge and the whole restaurant is glass walls. Unbelievable!
The menu is interesting and very reasonable. The food is good....well prepared and a fun presentation on different sizes and shapes of white plates.
There are 5 "smaller plates" all in the $3.90 to $5.90 range....Celery Root and Walnut Salad, Smoked Paprika Marinated Octopus Salad, Beef Tartare. Enough of a serving that each of us could have a taste.

Next Section: For the Hand...all finger foods from $4.90 to $9.60. Fried Olives, chili, mint orange zest (a must try!), Goat Cheese stuffed chicken wings, Liquid Cheddar Filled Crackers, Crisp Bacon. These were larger servings.
Menu then went on to 5 Appetizers and 7 Principal Plates. We tried 4 different Principal Plates...
Duck Confit, Flat Iron Steak, Crispy Braised Pork Belly, Seared Mosaic of Wild Salmon. All were $20.00 or under. All were very good.
Wine list was a little on the high end but we found a very nice B.C. Pinot Noir for $58.00.
Excellent service.
My one pet peeve....offer sparkling water (I didn't ask price) and after 3 bottle find out it is $10.00 per bottle. I will ask in future.
This place is really worth a visit.
