My husband and I are taking our 11 year old to Tokyo in August (hot and humid, I know). I've been reading tons of great suggestions about ramen, sushi, etc -- you guys are great. Now I'm looking for something a little more kooky, like dragon breath ice cream (nitrogen ice cream that lets you breathe smoke from your nose) and things like that. Does anyone have any recommendations? Of course food in general will be full of unfamiliar flavors, but I want to know all the things, whether it's black burgers at McDonalds or rainbow food at Monster Cafe. Tell me all!
Thank you so much!
PS two days in Kyoto as well, so hit me with that too! Thanks!
