The thread below about "does anyone eat there anymore" has prompted me to post on something I have been meaning to do for a couple of weeks now.
There is an article in what is apparently a new magazine on cheap dining in NoVa. The magazine is the Northern Virginian or something of that sort. Something like Washingtonian but more local and less tony--at least the issue that I saw. I happened to run into Tyrone from Flavors in another place on the list (America's Seafood), and he mentioned to me that he stopped by because of the article. I glanced through his copy and noticed a number of places on the list that correspond to places that get discussed here, including Lebanese Butcher. In fact, when we went in, it was more crowded for lunch with non-Middle Easterners than I have ever seen it. I thought it may perhaps have to do with the article.
I was hoping to give a more informative post on the article, but I haven't been able to get to a Borders to pick up a copy. I don't know where else it might be available, but I know it is there.
Anyway, NoVa hounds may want to give it a glance.
