Had lunch at Oriental Pearl today - old favorites: Chung King Style Hot Chopped Chicken, Boiled Sliced Beef in Hot Sauce, Mapo Tofu. Superb, as always.
Saw a Manhattan board posting on a new Grand Sichuan opening there. Looking at their website (link below - click on any of the restaurants and then the food menu on the left side bar), they talk about a "Nouvelle Sichuan Cooking". Jerome and others - is there any such place in LA?
