Noura - Posh Lebanese in London

Howler was right! Noura is the best Middle Eastern in London. Okay, I'm not convinced as to the kofte kabob yet. Patog on Crawford Place makes such unbelieveable kebabs. But the mezze at Noura was hands down the best I've had. That Beiruty Style Hummus is to kill for. And those Pickled Baby Egpplants stuffed with walnuts were sublime. Good wine list too, multiple vintages of Chateau Kefraya a big plus. And great service, even if they called me sir a few thousand times too many. But what do you expect, it's London. They are also serial plate changers. I was hardly done with the first round of appetizers when a waiter swooped in and whisked the plate out from under me and replaced it with a new one. Good desserts too, especially the ice creams. They actually had clotted cream ice cream which went perfectly with my other scoops which were pistachio and rosewater. I will be back. I wish they had a Noura in NYC.
