North Conway, NH: a good place to toast/remember a loved one?

saintp | Jun 14, 201504:54 PM     2

Hello! This might be a tricky question to answer, but here goes. We (me, husband, 2 daughters-8 and 11- and my Dad) will be in the North Conway area over the 4th of July week. We will be there on the date that coincides with the one-year anniversary of my mother's death last summer. I am trying to find a nice place, preferably with a view, where we could share a few appetizers and a cocktail and toast my Mom. I am pretty sure that my Dad will not want to make it too serious (it's already serious enough)....
Is there a place at the Omni Mt. Washington where non-guests can have a drink on a porch? I can't tell from their website. Any other suggestions for a place to raise a glass to a departed loved one? Thank you so much for any suggestions.
