First off, it is no longer owned by the Pinelli group. Based on my visit, that is a good thing. The menu is no longer italian specific, but has a wide range of dishes, including mix and match small plates of all kinds. Thereis more of a mediterranian (ok no idea how to spell the word) bent to the food now. They added touches to the decor also to update the feel of it, more modern.
The bar area is especially nice. Last night all of the giant floor to ceiling windows were open. They have set up tables near them, with armless highback chairs. Highly recommended.
