I was drawn to North 26 because I had heard they were serving lobster deviled eggs, but it was the rest of the meal that really drew the praise. In fairness, the eggs were good, but not exceptional, and not quite what I expected. Nice presentation though with the halves in their own separate cups. The beef tips were served over noodles in a broth with cherry tomatos. What made this dish stand out, was that as the bleu cheese melted over the beef it blended in with the broth giving a truly wonderful flavor that made you want to pick up your bowl and slurp it! For dessert I would have to recommend the Boston cream whoopie pie. Not a traditional whoopie pie as the pastry wasn't cakey, but rather crisp, topped with chocolate and filled with mouth watering cream. Presentation was fun as the pie was served with a spoon made of pastry resting over it. As for the atmosphere, I found the contemporary surroundings somewhat cold, but i would go back for the food.
