I've been looking at getting a grill pan or perhaps a grill plate that covers two stove top electric burners, but can't seem to find anything big enough in cast iron. Everything in a larger size (~20"x12" plate, or 12"-15" square pan) seems to be aluminum with a nonstick coating.
Would like to hear from anyone who uses stove top nonstick grills. How long does the nonstick coating last? How high heat can you use as recommended by the manufacturer? If using a two burner grill plate, how even is the heat on an electric coil burner?
