This made for a fine dinner schedule during Jazzfest: Wed. *Marigny Brasserie (B+) Thu. *Gabrielle (A) Fri.*Marisol (A/D Food/Service) Sat.*Herbsaint (A-) Sun health night Mon.*Clancy's (A) Tue. Brigtsen's (A) Wed. 4:00 Galatoire's (A) Thu. Jacques-Imo's (B+) Fri. Liuzza's (B+) Sat. Gautreau's (A) Sun. Pelican Club (B+) Mon. St.Roch's Market boiled crawfish (A) .*= res.for two/called day before to ask if there was a prob if I came as a single.Marigny Brass.,Gabrielle,Herbsaint,Galatoire's Jacques-Imo's,Gautreau's and Pelican Club were new to me in 2003.All in all the faves were:Gabrielle and Gautreau's.Biggest surprise/worst show: the comically inept service at Marisol. They really need some help in that department.I mean it ruins what could very well be the best food in town,IMHO.All this and I got to stop at the Ridgewood Barbecue in Bluff city,TN on my way north the next day.
