I apologize for asking this AGAIN, but would love some input on my research. I'll be in your lovely city for a conference from August 17 - 19 and want to make the most of my three nights. I'm staying at the Argent Hotel, will not have access to a car and will be alone. I also will be coming directly from a weeklong backpacking trip in Colorado, so comfort will be a priority! :)
Here's my initial thoughts based on budget (I have a per diem, but it is decidedly not generous, so the bountiful prix fixes look especially enticing), cuisine I can't readily access here in Iowa, and scouring this board:
Sunday night: my flight arrives at 7:30, so not sure how long it will take me to get to my hotel and get freshened up enough to be presentable -
Indigo for the $46 wine and 3-course prix fixe OR
Jester's, which is at the Argent.
Monday night: Hyde Street Bistro, Bizou or Moose's
Tuesday night: Ristorante Ideale
Any thoughts, advice, warnings, etc. will be most appreciated. And I promise a report when I return.
Thanks so much!
