Nichol's candies in Gloucester -- wonderful!

somervilleoldtimer | Dec 5, 201007:18 AM

About to head up to Nichol's Candies just of 128 in Gloucester. It's an amazing store full of every kind of hand-made chocolates!. Fill up a box with whatever you choose from the array spread out on tables -- you name it, they have it, plus hundreds that you haven't named. I don't like milk chocolate so I can't let you know how it tastes, but the dark chocolate is semi-sweet -- smooth and satisfying. The centers are great (I tend toward the chewy and nuts, not the cream centers) so I go for the molasses-y, caramely, nougaty, nutty, and marzipans. They have lots of cute shaped candies too, for very reasonable prices.

I have been really happy with what I've gottten every time I've gone.
