well, it's not quite new - i think it's been around a year, but i hadn't stopped in.
the place is "ocean's best seafood", on route 55 about 2 miles after it splits from route 44, a little before the firehouse, and roughly across from tina's italian restaurant.
stopped in and there were a couple women getting a decent size order of fish. she picked up the cel phone, called her husband to get the fryer ready, and walked out with it.
i purchased some fried fish - tilapia - and it was cooked nicely, tasted yummy.
this is NOT a restaurant, but one of the little seafood markets you walk into, the fish is there (or you place an advance order) - the only real concession to serving stuff is the fryer and i think small stove there.
i talked with the owner for a couple minutes, he makes the trip down to the bronx (formerly south st) sometime in the early night.
anyhow, figured i'd pass it along. if gadaleto's isn't close and you're not going to four corners (wappingers), this seems like a good place to go.
