After our lunch at Parc Hong Kong yesterday Nathan P said he wanted to stop at Dittmer's to stock up his smoked meat locker.
I tag along. I have live close to Dittmer's for over twenty years and never took the time to stop.
Anyway I picked up some
Smoked Turkey Wings, Smoked Pork Neck bones and Creole Andouille.
Rigth now I am just sitting here smelling a wonderful soup that is cooking away in the kitchen for a late dinner. If it turns out good I will post the recipe.
Anyway for those hounds who have not been go. I asked Nathan P how he learn about this wonderful place. He said he read about it on Chowhound. Another reason to support this site.
