I'll be in Nashville from late Monday, July 7 through early Saturday, July 12, and wish to eat well. Not expensively, but low-medium budget Chowhoundishly, i.e., breakfast nooks, lunch counters, delis, bistros, trattorias, roadhouses. Trouble is, I'll be boarded at the La Quinta motel near the airport and bused each day to and fro' a conference at Opryland. I'll have no wheels of my own, but I'll put holes in my soles to fill the one in my stomach, and public transportation is OK. Preferred cuisines: breakfast, chicken, fish, local, soul, deli, Mexican, Greek, Italian, French, Middle Eastern. Tips on good places to hear Americana music and unique neighborhoods to walk around would be appreciated, too.
Thank you in advance for your help. I anticipate reporting back.
