OK, as a #2 restaurant pet peeve (#1 being really crappy bent tableware), I offer the crazy phenomenon of restaurants selling very messy "finger food" (e.g., BBQ, wings, pulled pork sandwiches, whole crab, etc.) while being miserly with paper napkins.
I defy anyone to say one paper napkin is sufficient for a dozen wings, a pizza or a really messy sandwich. Lately, even when I ask "Could you please bring us several more napkins? We're having a hard time here", I'm lucky if I get one or two. This is with preps that obviously call for a whole stack, at least 4-6.
Does this make anyone else's butt chew gum?
