We are an extended family of 12 (8 adults, 4 kids, 1 baby) celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary during Thanksgiving week in the wine country (probably staying at Silverado Resort). Some of our (adult/older) crew would enjoy breaking off for an excellent upscale meal or two, but mostly I'm looking for more moderate/rustic/accommodating restaurants and eating options that are still delicious but also family-friendly (our kids are local -- SF -- well-behaved and adventurous eaters, and don't require dumbed-down meals). Any suggestions? We are also looking for a place to go for Thanksgiving dinner (or other ideas for how to make that festive -- we usually cook for 20+ so it's a bit odd going out). Or delicious takeout options (we have access to a suite with kitchenette). Thanks!
