I really enjoy this place.
Great to see real japanese food finally on the Danforth. Excellent beef yakinuku, soba, udon, ramen, tempura, unagi, saba, rice, etc. Sure you can get sushi there too, but in my five visits so far, I have been exploring the other delicacies. Also, there are not usually very busy, andIi only order sushi from busy places. However, little by little, this place is getting more popular.
Even the chicken teriyaki is surprisingly well prepared.
Prices are better at lunch than dinner. Overall, this a bit more expensive than the other, cookie-cutter japanese places around town, but I think it is worth the premium.
Aside from the usual sake and beer, they have sochu, and was able to convince them to sell it by the shot, rather than just by the bottle. Mmmm, I love my suchu.
