Mythos Rave

A few months back someone recommended Mythos to me. We went again last night; it was our fifth or sixth trip. Every time we go, I swear the food gets better. We ordered a new appy (for us) which consisted of bits of pork and sausage and cheese in a tomatoey sauce with thin ribbons of peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I really was nervous that my husband was going to pick up the dish and lick up all the sauce - it was that good. I had the grilled half-chicken, he had the lemon sole, we had sides of skordalia and okra. In one past visit, I had grilled sea bass that was better than any other fish I've ever tasted.
I don't want to get into whether this is comparable to the Astoria Greek places - I'm sure there are those who might quibble about which Greek is the best - but for those of us in Eastern Queens/Western Nassau, this place is a treasure.
North side of Northern Blvd, just west of Francis Lewis, in Bayside/Auburndale.
