a year ago, my roommate's mother took a trip to morocco and brought back a delicious sweet which i have been wondering about since. it was a nougaty log shaped roll from which thin slices were cut and eaten with tea i think. it seemed to be a blend of marzipan, chocolate, figs, and ground coffee beans mashed together and rolled in nuts, maybe. so good. if anyone knows the identity of this mystery sweet, or even better its identity and a good place to buy it in the los angeles area, i would be most appreciative.
