Adhering to strict stay-at-home and no visitors protocol!!.....resulting in no visiting family members to help devour the usual holiday Turkey, Prime Ribs or Seafood medley feast.
Instead, decided to settle for an 'ATYPICAL' Christmas dinner for this 'ABNORMAL and WACKY' Covid Year!!
Trying out another Hong Kong 'Sha-Tin' style roasted pigeon. This time from 'My Wonderful Kitchen, Richmond Hill'. ( Pigeon was very nicely executed. Well seasoned, crispy lacquered skin and juicy ). Augmented with some super-delicate and crispy Roasted Suckling Piglet and ' Tai-Chi, Yin-Yan ' Fried Rice ( Chicken in tomato sauce & Prawns in creamy white sauce ).
SIDE NOTE: The place was unbelievably busy, with me arriving 5 minutes ahead of pick-up time but already 6th in line! ....and there were 5 more people lining up behind me! Based on this scenario, with the quick turn-around, looks like they should make even more money than relying on dine-in patrons, some of whom, normally like hogging the table and never wanting to leave!
